PC Build of the week – Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO, Intel i7-12700KF & RTX 3050
This custom PC build was created by one of our team specifically for this customer’s requirements. He really wanted a system with plenty of white coloured components for a white/black theme. The case we recommended to him is the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO, this case is very special, its based upon the O11 Dynamic series which simply are the most popular PC case in the UK, they have updated the range with this new ‘EVO’ variant which includes some excellent new features as well as a host of updates that are very welcome by us. Some of these upgrades include the 3x removable fan/radiator trays, these house 3x 120mm fans and/or a 360mm radiator, which makes for pre-installing fans especially easier as you can neatly cable-manage all those wires; of course with the Lian Li UNI FAN SL 120 fans, there is only 1x cable coming from each set of three fans but for other fan brands this really does help.
The motherboard is a great design, it’s the ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4, this not only looks great with nice white and silver detailing, but it also oozes that quality build you expect from ASUS, great job! Makes me think twice about speccing in the ‘F’ or ‘E’ now!
The PC was purchased for work mainly, with a 70/30 split allowing it to be used sucessfuly for gaming and video/photo editing, this is thanks to the mighty 12th Gen Intel i7-12700KF which is a superb processor in the current 12th Gen lineup, but also thanks to the RTX 3050, which although at the bottom of the 30-series line-up from NVIDIA, it is certainly worth it as a step up from previous generations and other cards in the 16-series for example; get yourself on that ladder now and you won’t regret it.
