Monster Hunter Wilds was one of the biggest releases of 2025 and remains hugely popular into 2026. The expanded open world, dynamic weather and large monster encounters all add up to a more graphically intensive game than its predecessors.
Multiplayer hunts with three other players add CPU load. We recommend at least the Ryzen 7 9700X to keep frame timing consistent during the busiest combat sequences.
