It has now been succeeded by the RTX 5070 Ti, which brings Blackwell architecture, 16GB of faster GDDR7 memory and DLSS 4. The RTX 4070 Ti — and what came next

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti was a hugely popular card, hitting the sweet spot for high-refresh 1440p gaming and capable entry-level 4K. Built on NVIDIA's Ada Lovelace architecture with 12GB of GDDR6X memory, it offered excellent ray-tracing performance and efficiency for the money.

NVIDIA has since replaced it with the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. New 4070 Ti stock is now limited, so for a new build the RTX 5070 Ti is the card we recommend in its place.

Why the RTX 5070 Ti is the better buy today

The RTX 5070 Ti uses NVIDIA's newer Blackwell architecture and steps up to 16GB of next-generation GDDR7 memory — a meaningful jump from the 4070 Ti's 12GB GDDR6X, giving more headroom at 1440p and 4K. It also adds DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation for substantially higher frame rates, making it the stronger and more future-proof choice for a new build.

The RTX 4070 Ti has been succeeded by the RTX 5070 Ti, so new 4070 Ti stock is now limited. For a new build we recommend the RTX 5070 Ti, which adds more memory and DLSS 4. If you specifically need a 4070 Ti, contact us on 03333 444 127 and we'll advise on availability.

Is the RTX 5070 Ti better than the RTX 4070 Ti?
