iRacing PCs

iRacing PCs — built for the lows, not the average.

In iRacing the 1% low frame rate is what wins races. Our iRacing builds prioritise X3D CPUs, fast RAM and high-refresh GPU pairings so the bottom of your frame-time graph stays flat lap after lap.

iRacing target FPS by setup

Practical FPS targets at high settings, daylight conditions, full grid. Night races and heavy weather typically subtract 15–25%.

iRacing frame-time stability is driven heavily by the CPU. X3D-class CPUs deliver noticeably tighter 1% lows than non-X3D parts at the same average FPS.

Why CREATE PCs for sim

X3D CPUs by default

AMD Ryzen X3D CPUs win the 1% low battle in iRacing thanks to their massive L3 cache.

Tuned for high refresh

Drivers, BIOS settings and Windows tuning configured for low input latency before dispatch.

Built for sim cockpits

SFF or tower depending on your rig — tell us your cockpit and we’ll spec for clean cabling and acoustics.

iRacing PCs FAQs

Is the Ryzen 7 7800X3D still good enough for iRacing in 2026?

Absolutely. The 7800X3D delivers excellent 1% lows in iRacing and remains the best price-per-frame chip for sim. The 9800X3D adds another ~10% at the high end and is the right choice for triple-screen 1440p and PCVR setups.

How much VRAM do I need for iRacing?

iRacing itself is light on VRAM — 8GB is fine at 1080p. But triple-1440p or PCVR pushes you to 12GB+, and high-fidelity MFD apps (Garage 61, CrewChief) plus replay scrubbing benefit from 16GB+. The RTX 5080 (16GB) is the sweet spot.

Will the build fit in my sim cockpit?

Tell us your cockpit (Trak Racer, Sim-Lab, Next Level Racing GT-Track, custom 80/20) and we recommend SFF or tower placement. Most full-rig customers put a tower off-platform; static cockpit users often prefer an SFF build mounted directly on the rig.

Do you preinstall iRacing?

No — iRacing requires your own account. But we can install and configure CrewChief, Garage 61 and SimHub on request, and set up multi-monitor angles and resolutions before dispatch.
