PCVR Sim Racing & Flight Sim
PCVR sim PCs — tuned headset-by-headset, not generically.
A Pimax Crystal needs a wildly different build to a Quest 3 over Air Link. We spec the GPU, USB topology and OpenXR runtime for the headset you actually own.
- Pimax / Varjo / Quest 3 tuned
- RTX 5080 / 5090
- OpenXR + Vulkan
- 5-year warranty
Calibrated configurations
Three target performance tiers. Every component remains fully configurable in our builder.

PCVR refresh-rate targets by headset + title
Stable 90 Hz is the goal in PCVR sim racing — dropping below it causes reprojection artefacts and motion sickness. The figures below assume reasonable supersampling.
| Headset | iRacing / ACC | MSFS 2024 | DCS World | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Quest 3 (Air Link) | 90 Hz on 5080+ | 72–90 Hz on 5090 | 72–90 Hz on 5080+ | |
Pimax Crystal | 90 Hz on 5090 | 72–90 Hz on 5090 | 72 Hz on 5090 | |
Varjo Aero | 90 Hz on 5090 | 60–72 Hz on 5090 | 60–72 Hz on 5090 | |
Bigscreen Beyond | 90 Hz on 5090 | 72–90 Hz on 5090 | 72 Hz on 5090 |
PCVR is heavily dependent on supersample, motion smoothing and OpenXR runtime. We benchmark with your chosen headset before dispatch.
Why CREATE PCs for sim
Headset-specific tuning
Pimax PiTool / OpenXR Toolkit / Quest Link / Varjo Base — configured per build.
USB topology that works
Crystal and Varjo need clean USB-C / DisplayPort lanes — we use boards with dedicated controllers, not shared hubs.
Air-cooled options
Heat trapped in a cockpit is a real issue — we offer air-cooled top-end builds for closed-cockpit setups.
