Premiere benefits from Intel QuickSync on Intel CPUs (very fast H.264 / HEVC decode) and from NVENC on NVIDIA GPUs. Threadripper wins on heavy RAW pipelines via memory bandwidth.

Why CREATE PCs

QSV + NVENC accelerated

Intel QuickSync on Intel CPUs plus NVIDIA NVENC means hardware-accelerated decode and export across H.264, H.265 and AV1.

Storage tiered for editing

Gen5 NVMe primary for OS and project files, large secondary NVMe for media cache and scratch.

Whisper-quiet builds available

For audio-sensitive edit suites — Noctua air or low-RPM AIO options on every tier.

Adobe Premiere Pro PCs FAQs

Is Intel still the right choice for Premiere Pro in 2026?

For H.264 / H.265 timelines yes — Intel QuickSync remains a meaningful advantage. For ProRes and RAW timelines AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and Threadripper PRO are competitive or better.

How much RAM does Premiere Pro need?

64GB is the sweet spot for 4K work; 128GB for 4K multicam and colour. 8K and RAW workflows benefit from 128GB+ ECC.

Does Premiere use multiple GPUs?

Mostly single-GPU. Lumetri and effects acceleration runs on the primary GPU. A second GPU can drive a colour-grading monitor but not contribute to playback performance.

Do you preinstall Premiere Pro?

No — Premiere requires your own Adobe account. But we can preinstall the Creative Cloud client and confirm hardware acceleration / CUDA renderer are enabled before dispatch.
