Maxon ZBrush

Sculpt millions of polygons without the lag.

ZBrush leans on fast single-thread CPU power and plenty of RAM rather than a heavy GPU, so we build around a high-clock processor, generous DDR5 and quick NVMe storage. Tuned for smooth, responsive digital sculpting at high subdivision levels. From £1999.

  • High-clock Ryzen / Core Ultra
  • 64GB+ DDR5
  • Gen5 NVMe
  • 5-year warranty

How we match the hardware to your ZBrush workload

ZBrush is a CPU-led sculpting tool, so we prioritise clock speed and RAM first and keep the GPU sensible.

The key nuance: ZBrush holds your sculpt in system RAM, not GPU VRAM, and most brush and sculpting work rides on one or two fast cores. So a high-clock CPU and ample memory do far more for your day than an expensive graphics card.

Why CREATE PCs

We spend your budget where ZBrush actually uses it

Rather than pushing a pricey GPU you will not feel, we put the money into a high-clock CPU and plenty of DDR5, which is exactly what keeps sculpting responsive at high subdivision levels.

Memory headroom for the sculpts that grow mid-project

Because ZBrush keeps your mesh in system RAM, we fit 64GB as standard and offer 96GB to 256GB so dense subtool stacks and decimation never run you out of room.

Built by hand in Stevenage and backed for five years

Every ZBrush workstation is assembled, stress-tested and tuned by us in the UK, then covered by our 5-year warranty so you can sculpt to deadline with confidence.

ZBrush PCs FAQs

How much RAM do I really need for ZBrush?

ZBrush stores your sculpt in system memory, so RAM is one of the most important parts of the build. 32GB is a workable minimum, 64GB is comfortable for most professional work, and we suggest 96GB or more if you regularly push past tens of millions of polygons or keep many subtools loaded at once.

Is CPU or GPU more important for ZBrush?

The CPU is far more important. Brush strokes, sculpting and most ZBrush operations run on the processor and lean heavily on single-thread speed, so a high-clock chip like a Ryzen X3D part makes the biggest difference. The GPU mainly drives the viewport and does not need to be expensive.

Does ZBrush need a professional or workstation GPU?

No. ZBrush is a CPU-based application and does not benefit from pricey workstation cards such as the RTX Pro range. A solid mid-range gaming GPU like an RTX 5060 Ti or 5070 Ti is plenty, and you are better off putting the saving towards the CPU and RAM.

Can ZBrush use more than one graphics card?

No, ZBrush does not use multiple GPUs, so a second card brings no benefit for sculpting. The only reason to consider one is if you run a separate GPU renderer or other software alongside ZBrush, in which case just let us know and we will plan the build around it.

Do you preinstall ZBrush on the PC?

We do not preinstall ZBrush itself, as it is licensed to you through your own Maxon account. We do deliver the machine fully built, updated and tested with current drivers, so you simply sign in to Maxon, install ZBrush and start sculpting.
