Oh yes, here we go, something a bit different! Built for Ozzy from FueltheForce as a new media creation rig, to smash through 4K footage in style!
Ozzy first got in contact with us via Instagram and we had a few messages back and forth to establish exactly what he was looking for, he sent some examples that we were able to use as inspiration and improve upon the ideas there.
So we started with the base specifications of the Intel Core i9-13900K processor, this 24-Core powerhouse is absolutely perfect for content creation with its boost capability up to 5.8GHz and average around 5.5GHz on an all-core load, nice!
The graphics card was another area to ensure we had the best capability for working with high-res footage, so from the RTX 40-series stack we have the RTX 4080 from Palit.
What we needed to achieve as much as a high-performance system as possible, the aesthetics were just as important. Now, the example builds we were shown had the basic idea of the Lian Li O11 case, halo fans and vertically mounted GPU, however we were not impressed by the fan orientations to achieve the internal RGB appearance and also the fans were a sub-brand quality which we just could not entertain. So we researched some options on the market that sat around the mid-range in price and performance and settled for the Cooler Master MF120 Prismatic fans, they have a crystal effect to the halo rings, and crucially they have a halo ring on both sides, so orientation of the fans is not a problem.
Couple these fans with the Palit GameRock GPU and you have something pretty special, as the GPU fan surrounds are crystals too!
